Climate - when to come
Most of Southern and East Africa experiences summer rainfall (November to February), often in the form of spectacular electric thunderstorms.
Days are usually warm and sunny throughout the year, but warm clothing is required for game drives, especially during winter.
Cape Town has a Mediterranean climate with winter rainfall (May to September).
